Before I start pulling out beads....

I thought I would post this. I started it before I became ill last week, and I have been staring at it for over a week now. I know what needs to be done but of course I am reluctant to do it after all that work. But it will only get worse so I may as well just do it. Today is as good a day as any since It will be pretty mindless, repetitive work.
The problem is the green beads. They are just too close in value to the pink luster beads on the figure. There is not enough contrast.  It may be hard to tell in the photo as I am so bad with capturing the proper light in my photos, but trust me it is not working. Especially when I set it next to my other two figures. They are full of interesting contrasts.

Time to start pulling.

Good girl! Often we just keep going and hope it will turn out in the end (which does happen, but rarely!)
It's hard to judge the effects of a few beads when you see them in the tube and they are so concentrated there...then you string them or sew them and the contrast just isn't there.

You'll be happier, if it meets what you had in mind. I'm glad you're over the food poisoning-that's awful stuff.

Roberta, I'm the QUEEN of 'unsewing'!! I couldn't really see the green until I clicked on your pictures..it's quite pale and I think you're right to 'unsew'. I did that on my last BJP...lots of ripping out beads but I'm so much happier with the end result. It's worth it!!

Ugh, I'm like that with knitting. I keep hoping I'm not seeing what I'm seeing but I see it.

I will challenge Robbie for the title "Queen of Unsewing." If I had all the thread I've ripped out, my name would be Coats and Clark instead of Crackpot!
