Faux Ebony Carved Beads

I have been getting many positive comments on these faux ebony beads.

I have been experimenting with a variety of colors for these beads, using a similar style so I can see what works and what doesn't. I like the ebony the best so far. I used pearl white pearl ex and I like it better than the silver actually. It really pops on the black.

I am still trying to get the faux jade to work as well. The colors are still dull compared to the more opaque colored beads.

I think it must have something to do with the transparency of the jade colors. I have been sanding my brains out but they are still dull as you can see below:

i actually like the look of the faux jade beads. all of your beads are beautiful. i've been attempting carved beads, but don't come anywhere close to yours!
