WIP for a Letter a Week

It feels a bit strange to be posting today after yesterdays horrific events a mere 2 miles from where I live.

I live right on the marathon route so that I am always trapped in my house on that day. I have to make sure to do all my food shopping etc the day before. But that is usually the only problem to be encountered. That and all the late night partying in the neighborhood.

Needless to say there was no late night partying last night. I don't even know who won the marathon nor do I care.

What I do know is that our marathon will never be the same now. I hope they find whoever did this. I am sure they will. They always do. But how to prevent these things from happening. They don't know how to do that nor will they ever I fear.

Earlier in the day, before the nightmare began I stitched together my book for Letter a Week 2013. I am not really part of the group that is doing this. I don't even know if there is a way to sign up or what. But it sounded like a quick and fun project so I did it anyway. I still have to complete the covers.

I liked stitching the pages together. It was very meditative.

I'm glad you are safe.....such a tragedy for those who aren't. Your book looks great......a letter a day is a fun idea and I like how you used your letters.

Gosh, I thought about you when I heard. 2 miles, that's so close. I'm sorry. So many things will, sadly, never be the same again.
