Happy 4th of July!

I just want to wish everyone a lovely 4th of July. It is hard to believe it is here and finally warm. Although as we say here in Boston, we have two seasons: Winter and the 4th of July.

I hope to relax and do some studio work. I have been newly engaged with an old hobby of mine, embroidery. I love adding tiny embroidered details to my work. it is a very soothing thing to do. Not as much stress as creating a painting or a print.

I like the Zen of it.

Whatever I can do to help me relax and remain calm in the stress is a good thing.

If you are interested in purchasing this card it can be found here:

Beautiful color combo, purple and gold, my new favorite.

My daughter lives near Springfield Mass. I haven't been to Boston yet, but hope to someday. Enjoy the holiday weekend. :)
