Hot Summer Days..........Carry Me Along

I still love that song from the 70's by "It's a Beautiful Day". Hot summer days is what we have now and I am really enjoying the searing heat.

Now the fourth is over. We didn't do much since we are usually away at this time of year. But with my husband still in recovery mode we aren't leaving until next week. Hopefully he will be OK without his physical therapy for a couple of weeks.

My grandson leaves for a week away at The Farm School on Monday. I hope he enjoys it. I know I will enjoy getting a bit of a break.

Then it is off to the Berkshires. I will bring my drawing equipment and sketchbooks and perhaps some embroidery thread as well to practice stitches on. I am a bit rusty with my stitches since I haven't embroidered in years.

I am still doing well selling the cards. This one can be found in the usual Etsy place.

Enjoy the heat while it lasts!

A lovely card and congrats at your successful sales !
We are still under rain clouds and everything is soggy ... can't even get the floor mop to work on ...too damp.
Have a good time when you finally get away !

Oh, the Berkshires, it sounds so exotic. They look really pretty, too. I'd like to enjoy the heat while it lasts but I just can't...and it will be lasting a long time.

Yes, well you get a lot of heat that last a long time. Just like we get so much cold and dreary weather for so long.
