Sometimes I do my best work at night, on the bed with my wooden drawing board on my lap and the TV on. I love to watch old episodes of Breaking Bad for some reason. I have seen them all a million times but I like having something on that I don't have to pay attention to. Does that make sense? It is like comfort food or something. Anyway, that is what I have been doing lately and some of the drawings are better than anything I do during the day.

I think this would make a lovely pattern.

Hi Roberta- Love this....reminds me of some of the stitching I've been doing recently...white stitching on black cotton. Who knew how striking that simple combo could be!

This is a stunning pattern. I think the white on black is part of it but also the diverse sizes of the pattern. It really grabs your attention!

Hope things are falling into place for you.
xx, Carol

Powerful and striking design made even more so with contrasting black and white colors. Your work has really inspired me to enjoy experimenting with my own design ideas for stencils. I've also found that this activity works really well in the evening while having the TV in the background. Slow and thoughtful repetition of marks must sooth the part of our brain that otherwise give way to worry!

Very striking design. I listen to the radio too when I'm working...it's background noise. .it helps me concentrate . No noise is too distracting and interesting noise too diverting. I love breaking bad. I would watch it over and over and do no work ☺
