Winter

Tomorrow is the first day of spring but it doesn't really feel like it at all. It has been very cold and very snowy here. More like January.

I guess that is why I chose to paint a rather colorless piece. Very wintry colors.

Not much else to say. Things here are the same pretty much. Dealing with a lot of family issues at the moment and so not a lot to say about the art. I signed up for another Carla Sonheim class which begins this week. Hopefully that will keep me in good spirits as her classes usually do.

Stay warm

That is a lovely piece, Roberta! I know we're all looking forward to spring and its glorious color.

I really like this piece. There is a lot about it that catches my eye like the shading in the flower. And the back ground. You have blended color to give the feel of movement..at least it causes my eye to move around the piece. I think its pretty cool that the colors you chose cause the viewer's attention to be drawn more to your technique. Lovely.

I love the colors in this one- i know you are dealing with lots of family stuff- makes it hard as that can color everything. I get that as my husband has to have open heart surgery.
